Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, the passion Luis has for food began at an early age. After graduating from the Escuela Culinaria Mérida, his education continued in Spain and France. After returning to Mexico, he worked under the direction of Chef Roberto Solís at his restaurant, Néctar, where he trained for three years before being sent to NOMA and AMAS to perfect his art. Equipped with all of his experience and new ideas, Chef Luis returned to Mexico, taking positions at Pujol, Quintonil and Rossetta. Since 2016, Chef Luis has been part of the Karisma family as Creative Chef at El Dorado Royale and is currently the chef at El Cielo Winery & Resort.
