OUR STORY

After a three-year hiatus forced by COVID-19 related restrictions, we are excited to host the 4th Annual Valle Food & Wine Festival in Valle de Guadalupe in October 2022. The festival was born in the summer of 2017 as a way to celebrate the unique Mexican wine region; to support the local community through charitable contributions; and invite food and wine lovers to experience the food, wine, art, and culture of the region that SUNSET magazine calls, “the most exciting wine travel destination in the west.”

TWO-DAY FESTIVAL

The local community of winemakers, chefs, farmers, and residents want to preserve the natural beauty of the region by discouraging mass events. We’re on board! Thus, Valle Food & Wine Festival will be a smaller, more boutique event, as the number of tickets we are allowed to sell is limited. To accommodate more attendees, Valle Food & Wine Festival will take place over two days, Saturday, October 22 (4 pm to 11 pm ) and Sunday, October 23 (noon to 6 pm). Tickets for each day are sold separately and the lineup of chefs will be entirely different on each day. See EXPERIENCES for more info.

Saturday

Saturday is a big party featuring:

• 25 chef stands
• 20+ wineries
• Mixology and craft beer
• Live art
• Live music and dancing until 11:00 PM.
• Featured Saturday chefs include legend Nancy Silverton,  superstar Gabriela Cámara (Contramar, CDMX; Iron Chef); legendary Hitching Post grillmaster Frank Ostini (if you saw Sideways, you know Frank); and pastry maven Valerie Gordon (Valerie Confections, L.A.), among others. (See CHEFS.)

Sunday is a verb in Mexico, dominguiando, and that’s what this day-into-sunset is all about, featuring:

• Celebrity Chef Demos
• Book signings
• 25 chef stands
• 20+ wineries
• Mixology and craft beer 
• Live art
• Live music
• Kids ticket
• Sunday featured chefs include the beloved TV chef superstar Aarón Sánchez, legend Rick Bayless; and Fauna’s own David Castro Hussong and Maribel Aldaco, among others (See CHEFS.)

VIP Lounge will be a comfortable lounge within the festival featuring a private, hosted bar, unlimited Baja wines, and waiter service. VIP ticket holders enter one hour before general admission, so VIP guests can visit the chef and winery stands (and get a selfie with their celeb crushes) before General Admission comes in.
